With only about 3,000 difference lets take a look at what you get with both base models 2013 Camry LE and the 2013 Camry LE Hybrid.
The Camry LE has a starting MSRP of only $22,680 with an estimated MPG of 25/35, 2.5 liter 4 cylinder 6 speed automatic and the 2013 Camry Hybrid LE starting MSRP of $26,140 with an estimated MPG at 43/39 with the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder ECVT hybrid engine.
Both the Camry LE and the Camry LE Hybrid standard exterior features include projector beam halogen headlights with auto on/off feature, daytime running lights with on/off, color keyed power outside mirrors with manual folding, 16” steel wheels with wheel covers, washer linked intermittent wipers, high solar energy absorbing glass, acoustic noise reducing front windshield.
Standard interior features dual zone automatic climate control (very important for children passengers), 6.1” touch screen with CD, MP3, 6 speakers, audio jack, USB ort with iPod connectivity, hands free phone and access to music streaming via Bluetooth. Smart key system with push button start, fabric front seats and of our favorites is the tilt/telescopic steering wheel.
The 2013 Toyota Camry Hybrid has a few extra interior features including Cruise control, Optitron instrumentation with speedometor hybrid system power meter, fuel and instant/average fuel economy gauges; Multi-Information Display with average fuel economy, distance to empty, average speed and warning messages; LCD displays with odometer, tripmeters, outside temperature and shift-position indicator; EV and ECO Mode indicators and ECO Driving Indicator. Which of course is not needed on a gas vehicle.
Top safety features are under safety; ten airbags throughout the cabin, Star Safety System, LATCH system for child safety seats and the tire pressure monitor system.
Toyota prides itself with it’s peace of mind warranty protection of Toyota’s 36-month/36,000 mile basic new-vehicle warranty applies to all components other than normal wear and maintenance items. Additional 60-month warranties cover the powertrain for 60,000 miles and against corrosion with no mileage limitation. The hybrid-related components, including the HV battery, battery control module, hybrid control module and inverter with converter, are covered for eight years/100,000 miles.
The 2013 Toyota Camry will also come standard with Toyota Care, a complimentary plan covering normal factory-scheduled maintenance and 24-hour roadside assistance for two years or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first.
