Jeep recalled over fire risk!
It’s recall time again! This time, Jeep recalls 67,872 2010 Jeep Wranglers over a potential fire risk.
It seems that road/trail debris could get caught in the transmission skid plate. If those twigs, or Dixie Cups come in contact with the nearby catalytic converter (which gets really hot), a fire could start. They failed to say if anybody had roasted marshmallows over a burning 2010 Jeep Wrangler as of yet. But Jeep dealers will still perform a fix, free of charge.
Owners of affected 2010 Jeep Wranglers will be notified by mail later this month.
