2013 Mazda CX9 Compared

The 2013 Mazda CX9 is newly redesigned that boast the updated front fascia and sweeping aerodynamic lines. A short front and rear overhang, modest wheelbase and wide sculpted fenders create the illusion of a small crossover while maximizing stability and agile handling.

They all three have the same engine 273 hp 3.7L DOHC V6 engine, 6 speed sport AT with manual shift mode and the same EPA Est 17/24 MPG FWD & 16/22 AWD.

They all three come with some great standard features like LATCH (child safety seat anchors & upper tether anchors, child safety rear door locks, keyless remote panic button on fob, Bluetooth handsfree, steering wheel mounted audio controls, SiriusXM, USB audio input port, Auxiliary audio input jack, SMS test message audio delivery and reply, Pandora, HD radio, 5.8” color touchscreen, 50/50 split fold down 3rd row seats and then the 60/40 split fold down 2nd row seat, 7 passenger seating and a ton of storage areas.

Standard features for the Sport and Touring both have 18” aluminum alloy while the Grand Touring has 20” aluminum alloy wheels. As for the interior standard features the Sport does not have the rearview camera or the rear backup sensors, leather trimmed seats, (BMS) blind spot monitoring system, alarm system, Bose sound system or navigation system, all of which are on the top of our list for key features.

With more families putting safety first in their search for a new car the 2013 Mazda CX9 all three Sport, Touring and Grand Touring have excellent standard safety features including: E911 automatic emergency notification, Engine-immobilizer antitheft system, Keyless remote panic button, Tire-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Foldaway brake pedal assembly, Collapsible steering column, Side-impact door beams, Triple H body construction, Roll Stability Control (RSC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Traction Control System (TCS), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) w/ Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), Front seat-belt pretensioners with force limiters, 3-point seat belts for all seating positions, Front side-impact air bags and side-impact air curtains with rollover protection and Advanced front air bags with seat belt-use, passenger-weight and driver’s seat-position sensors.

The 2013 Mazda CX9 Sport has a starting MSRP of only $29,785 the Touring MSRP starts at $32,230 and the Grand Touring MSRP begins as low as $34,785. Of course they are all three a seven-passenger vehicle. So your choice is really pretty easy because you have three to choose from, but AutoComparison team likes the fully loaded Grand Touring for family fun driving.
